The Realme C2 is armed with a dual primary camera setup having 13MP and 2MP lenses. These can click excellent images and also can record quality video recording. At the front, there is a 5MP lens that can capture decent selfies and also allows you to attend high-resolution video calls. The device has a wide range of connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, micro USB, Bluetooth, 4G with VoLTE.

The C2 is a budget offering from Realme and is the successor of the Realme C1. It sports a 6.1-inch HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It has good viewing angles and also offers the option to change the color temperature of the display.

The Realme C2 is well designed and has a diamond-cut pattern on the back that makes it look premium. The phone is compact and feels comfortable to hold in the hand. It has a dual-camera setup at the back which consists of a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Powering the smartphone is .a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and comes in two variants- 2GB RAM with 16GB storage, and 3GB RAM with 32GB of storage. We had the 3GB RAM variant and found it to be powerful enough for day-to-day tasks but couldn’t run big games smoothly.

3. Huawei Y6s 

Huawei Y6s smartphone was launched in January 2020. The phone comes with a 6.09-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1560 pixels. Huawei Y6s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM. The Huawei Y6s runs Android 9 and is powered by a 3020mAh battery.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Huawei Y6s on the rear packs a 13-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Huawei Y6s runs EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9 and packs 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB). The Huawei Y6s measures 156.28 x 73.50 x 8.00mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 150.00 grams. It was launched in Starry Black and Orchid Blue colors.

Connectivity options on the Huawei Y6s include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v4.20, Micro-USB, and FM radio-Fi Direct. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.

4. Oppo A5s

The Oppo A5s are positioned in the sub-Rs. 10,000 segment. It has a big 6.2-inch display with a waterdrop notch. The display has HD+ resolution and decent viewing angles but it does not get bright enough when outdoors. Oppo has picked the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC to power the A5s. It offers decent performance but multitasking wasn’t snappy.

In terms of software, the Oppo A5s run ColorOS 5.2 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. It is a dated version of the operating system. We also noticed that the Oppo A5s had some amount of bloatware pre-installed. The Oppo A5s has a 4230mAh battery and lasted us for one full day. The supplied charger is slow and took close to 2 hours to charge completely

It has a dual-camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. We found the camera performance to be average during the day but it suffered in low-light. Video stabilization was also missing resulting in shaky video footage.

5. Xiaomi Redmi 7

.Xiaomi has updated its low-cost workhorse Redmi series with the new Redmi 7. Compared to the Redmi 6, which was less than a year old, the Redmi 7 has a more powerful processor, bigger screen, and new plastic body with optional gradient designs, in keeping with current trends. This phone does seem to tick all the boxes in terms of matching or exceeding the features and specifications that other manufacturers are tempting buyers with right now. The price for the base model is very attractive, but we don’t see how the higher-priced variant, with just 1GB more RAM, makes a lot of sense

The Redmi 7 is an all-rounder that doesn’t have anyone major headlining feature, but it does well at nearly everything. The 6.26-inch HD+ screen is immersive and will make media and games look good, even if it isn’t the best. The 4000mAh battery is more than enough to get you through a full day. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC did very well in our tests. The cameras are serviceable, and the rear 12-megapixel primary camera impressed us in daylight shots, but the low-light performance was weak. Xiaomi also continues to stuff its MIUI skin and its apps with ads, which can get very annoying.

Overall, the Redmi 7 is a very strong device that delivers solid performance and has no deal-breaking flaws and offers fantastic value for money.

6. Xiaomi Redmi 8

Xiaomi has unleashed a whole pack of new Redmi and Redmi Note smartphones over the past month, as the market shows no signs of slowing down. There has so far been no lack of competition for the Chinese giant, but it has managed to keep up. Buyers don’t seem to mind too much, as they’re getting more for their money than ever before. The Redmi 8 is the latest iteration of one of Xiaomi’s most affordable models, and so it automatically has a huge potential target audience.

The Snapdragon 439 SoC is relatively underpowered but there’s 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage. You also get a 5000mAh battery and support for 18W fast charging, though only a 10W charger is included. The HD+ screen measures 6.22 inches and is decent for a phone at this price.

While general performance was good for day-to-day use, the cameras were disappointing. Images didn’t always come out looking sharp, and photo quality was especially poor at night. Xiaomi’s MIUI software is also full of bloatware and ads.

Overall, this is a good phone to buy if you want a polished experience, but you might need to spend a bit more if you need raw performance.
